  • Everything in Individual, for two

  • Private sections and shared sections

  • One set of named people for both of you

The people you name never pay anything.

Executors, beneficiaries, and anyone else you give access to can open your LifeFile, read it, and download it without an account or a subscription. That holds whether you're here or not.

If you ever stop paying, your file isn't deleted and it isn't held hostage. It goes read-only, and you and the people you named can still get everything out.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK FIRST

What happens to my file if I stop paying?

It switches to read-only. Nothing is deleted, and you and the people you've named can still open and download everything. Start paying again and it unlocks where you left off.

Does the free plan expire?

No. It's a smaller version of LifeFile, not a trial. Three sections and one named person, for as long as you want.

Can you read my information?

No. Everything is encrypted on your device before it reaches us, with a key only you hold. That's also why we can't recover it for you if you lose the key — keep your backup somewhere safe.

Do my executor and beneficiaries need to pay?

Never. Anyone you give access to reads and downloads for free, with no account required.

What counts as a household?

Two adults at the same address — married, partnered, or a parent and an adult child sharing the work.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, any time. Moving up is prorated. Moving down keeps everything you've entered; the extra sections just go read-only.
